You will have the opportunity to shape this exciting, new role to help develop, lead and manage their marketing strategy to continue to drive the business growth.

You will have a good degree of dedicated marketing experience across all medias and ideally, but not essentially, you will have experience of developing brands in the hospitality industry and a proven track record of generating business to business leads.

You’ll join a small, energetic team, so be prepared to get your hands dirty and enjoy exploring fresh opportunities and markets to help find new homes for their world beating technologies.

Our Client, a family run business based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Established for over 60 years, has a strong, long-standing reputation within the hospitality industry for quality service and innovation. Their diverse portfolio of products and services focuses on high quality drinks dispense solutions for operators across the on trade. Their varied customer base includes international brewers, national pub companies, soft drink manufacturers, spirit manufactures, coffee manufacturers as well as individually owned bars, restaurants, hotels and cafes. Customer service and product quality is at the forefront of what they do. Successful development and expansion of their domestic and overseas markets has created this new and exciting opportunity to join a small friendly team for the next stage in the company’s development.

Job Purpose

This is a new role within the business to execute and manage the marketing strategy to increase lead generation and brand awareness globally for our Clients brands. By working very closely with their existing and new marketing agencies to ensure all enquiry platforms are managed and developed to increase quality leads. Which includes, website, Online Shop, PR, Advertising opportunities, social media, exhibitions and more. Analysing and reporting results from the various platforms including our CRM system SuperOffice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy
    • Work closely with the Joint Managing Directors and Brand Manager to assist in the creation, development and delivery of a strong marketing strategy for all the brands and services
    • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business products and services and form opinion on how they currently position each offer.
    • Analyse the company’s customer mix and type to help develop the strategy and be creative in their approach to market.
    • Liaise and manage external suppliers who provide services to assist with the delivery of the marketing strategy. This may also include assisting in the placement of new marketing partners
    • Exhibition management and identifying new event opportunities

Lead Generation

  • The primary aim of the marketing strategy is to increase the number of quality enquiries and leads as well as increasing their brand awareness on a domestic and global stage to help drive the continued growth of the business.
  • Lead Generation
    • Create/Document the lead generation plan for the next 12 months ensuring:
      • There is a clear activity calendar in place
      • Approved lead generation activities are implemented effectively
      • Results are tracked and measured
      • Continuous improvement and refinement lead to increasing ROI
    • Brand Awareness
      • Manage online updates, contents and images including their online shop
      • Organise and manage the company’s quarterly newsletters
      • Manage and be interactive with the company’s social media platforms
    • Administration
      • Develop monthly marketing meetings to discuss performance, actions and ideas
      • Manage budget across the agreed elements of the strategic plan. This includes direct mail, social media, PR and e-marketing
      • Oversees the stock and production of marketing materials across print, advertising, website and social media
      • Key administrator user, & trainer of SuperOffice (CRM) including effective management, analysis to provide full monthly reports and actions on opportunities and leads in to the business.
      • Assist with writing marketing content for use across the company’s websites and the identified media channels

  • Increase in quality, relevant lead generation

Core Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years B2B marketing experience, ideally within an on/off line organisation selling technical products
  • Team player who can lead when required
  • Competent with Microsoft Office; PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong, creative literacy skills
  • Social media post creation and management experience
  • Website management experience (preferably Mengento)
  • Experience in using CRM systems (preferably SuperOffice)
  • Analytical
  • Lead generation
  • managing 3rd party Marketing/PR agencies

Salary £30k – £35k depending on experience

Monday – Friday Hours 8am/8:30am – 5pm (our Client can be flexible with start and finish times as well as working days)
