Digital Optimisation Analyst / Senior Digital Optimisation Analyst

An exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking growing company as part of a growing team based in central Manchester, this opportunity is for either a Digital Optimisation Analyst/Senior digital Optimisation Analyst who will help to shape the future of analytics across a data hungry organisation. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills as well as a passion for delivering insights that inspire test and learn culture across digital, marketing, operations and beyond.

Main purpose of the job:

  • Proactive and innovative data analysis across digital marketing, web, app and customer experience
  • Communication of actionable insights to influence brand marketing and eCommerce strategy
  • Evolution of digital analytics capability across measurability, reporting, insights and optimisation – becoming the business expert and keeping up to date with the latest technology and trends

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Measurability: Definition and upkeep of multi-channel measurement strategy including technical implementation – especially data layer design, tracking schema and specification, tag management and configuration both short term tactical (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) and long term strategic (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch)
  • Reporting: Upskilling and enabling stakeholders to self-serve essential data, building and maintaining interactive and illustrative dashboards to facilitate independent data-led decision making (Power BI, Adobe Analytics, Alteryx)
  • Insights: Proactive delivery of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analysis of integrated offline and online data across web, app, acquisition and customer experience e.g. attribution and retention modelling
  • Optimisation: Collaboration with UX, marketing and digital and the wider data team to optimise user journeys through AB and multivariate testing and personalisation (Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Experience Manager)

Key skills / attributes should include:

Essential

  • Experience using Adobe Analytics
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness and appetite for adventure
  • An effective communicator

Desirable

  • Interest in data storytelling and visualisation
  • Proficient in MYSQL
  • Experience using Power BI
  • Experience using Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Audience Manager and Adobe Experience Manager
  • Experience delivering or supporting a successful conversion rate optimisation (CRO) roadmap
  • Experience using project management / workflow software e.g. Jira, Confluence
  • Experience implementing Adobe Analytics and using Adobe Launch

 

Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm, Friday 8.30-5pm

Location: Huddersfield/Manchester but some time will be spent in both

Salary:  Competitive, flexible level depending on experience
