    **** Part Time/ School Hours – Working for the Leeds United Foundation ****

    We are delighted to partner with the Leeds United Foundation in the acquisition of a Temporary Fundraiser/ Events Co-Ordinator with the possibility of the role going permanent. This role can be flexible hours working set days or through School Hours – this can be discussed at Interview Stage.

    Job Purpose:

    Working in collaboration with Leeds United and The Leeds United Foundation, The purpose
    of the role is to lead and shape The Leeds United Foundation’s fundraising activities in order
    to grow unrestricted income across the charities fundraising spectrum.

    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

    • Identify projects and services which could be funded through major giving, cultivate relationships, develop proposals and secure gifts from major donors.
    • To identify opportunities and manage corporate and individual giving, cultivate relationships, maximise income generation, supporter engagement and lifetime value.
    • To identify opportunities and manage fundraising events, develop a fundraising
    • calendar, to ensure maximum return on investment and maximum supporter engagement.
    • To build a strong, diverse pipeline of future opportunities.
    • To develop engaging targeted fundraising campaigns to broaden our support base.
    • To be aware of and respond to emerging trends in fundraising.
    • Work with the Fundraising Sub-Committee to develop and manage a fundraising
    • Strategy / Strategic Plan to secure income and support the organisation’s growth.
    • Work with Leeds United’s Commercial and Marketing Departments, as well as external stakeholders
    • To support the development, implementation and General evaluation of the strategic plan.
    • To demonstrate a commitment to the club and Foundation’s Core Values of Family,
    • Pride, Graft, Innovation and Ambition
    • To be an ambassador for the Leeds United Foundation with a strong external focus.
    • To report to Executive Management Team, the board of trustees and sub-committees about the impact of the fundraising activities.
    • To manage the fundraising budget and report on variances to the Executive Team,
    • Fundraising Sub Committee and Trustees
    • To ensure that fundraising income achieves target.
    • To communicate the fundraising strategy throughout the organisation, ensuring
    • everyone understands their role and the importance of fundraising.
    • To understand the fundraising regulatory environment and ensure compliance
    • To meet deadlines agreed with line manager and key partners with regard to
    • reporting of key performance indicators and other targets.
    • To champion the highest standards for health and safety and safeguarding.
    • To effectively manage and develop strong positive relationships with beneficiaries,

    Key partners and stakeholders:

    • To undertake any relevant training as required by line- manager or in line with
    • expectations of key stakeholders
    • To attend and participate in meetings with Foundation staff, funding providers and other meetings as appropriate.
    • To exhibit and promote company values & behaviours.
    • Promote and celebrate equality, diversity & inclusion.
    • To out carry any additional work and duties that meets the needs of the business.

    Person Specification:

    The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

    Essential Requirements

    1. 2 years of experience of events management/match organisation
    2. Exceptional organisational and business planning skills.
    3. Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    4. An advanced competency in all Microsoft Office packages.
    5. A proven ability to produce high quality reports and documents.
    6. Ability to problem solve and work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
    7. Ability to prioritise workload and maintain a self-starting, calm and considered approach to
    problem solving.
    8. A proven ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines whilst ensuring standards and
    quality remain of a high quality.
    9. Accurate with a keen eye for detail.
    10. A flexible and adaptable working approach.

    Advantageous

    1. Previous experience of working within a sporting environment.
    2. Supervisory experience with a proven ability to manage and co-ordinate major events.
    3. An understanding of Charitable Organisations
