    Our client is a leading technology & communications provider with a market leading product/service. Their offering is quickly gaining a greater market share and has no signs of slowing down.

    Our client’s portfolio contains local authorities, schools, colleges, Universities, SMB and corporate businesses. The company is now entering into an exciting new push for Public sector tendered contracts and has already won over a dozen major contracts through this mechanism.

    They are now looking for a Bid Manager to join their Sales team, could this be you?

    Successful candidates will hold a minimum of 5 years bid management experience, with proven capability in delivering winning, high-value products or complex service opportunities. 

    Here’s what you would be doing:

    Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the business’s growth through planning, managing and delivering successful bids. You will be responsible for producing various submissions including tenders, bids, framework and call off contracts and expression of interests.

    You will lead the process to deliver bids and tenders that support the company’s business development strategy and the achievement of all income and growth targets.

    You will work proactively with colleagues across the business to ensure information is accurate and deadlines for submissions are met.

    Here’s what we would like from you:

    As an experienced Bid Manager, you will demonstrate an ability to become conversant with a new industry quickly, and drive quality in everything you do.

    You will be commercially minded, flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes. You will possess a strong commercial acumen and good internal stakeholder management skills, acting as a business partner to support these activities.

    Together with a minimum of 5 years of experience within bid-management, from opportunity identification through to product delivery, you will have proven capabilities in delivering winning, high-value products or complex service opportunities; managing competing deadlines and high-volume workloads within a similar environment.

    You will highly proficient in working both independently and as part of a team, with proven ability to communicate and influence at a senior level.
