    Our Client is committed to delivering high-quality connectivity and services to their businesses and schools. They are currently expanding their Commercial team and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account and Business Development Manager to join their Sales Department.

    Here’s what you would be doing:

    As an Account and Business Development Manager reporting to the Sales Manager, you will join a passionate and experienced Sales team. In line with our Clients commercial strategy, you will pro-actively nurture existing relationships and develop new opportunities, both via channel and B2B commercial strategy, through the consistent achievement of sales targets and departmental KPI’s.

    Acting as the main point of contact for direct opportunities and partner queries, you will always put the customer first – whether attending client meetings throughout the UK, or operating at our Clients HQ, you will ensure the timely response and effective outcome for all inbound queries from your allocated accounts.


    You must be able to demonstrate sound business and industry knowledge, previous experience within similar role; ie. telecommunications, business and educational sector. Technically capable with an understanding and interest in our Clients product and services portfolio.

    Here’s what they would like from you:

    You will have proven experience of account management and business development, demonstrating an enthusiasm for both business and education industries, as well as the generation of new opportunities.

    A sound commercial awareness within your specialist market and a working understanding of the quotes process. Proficiency with managing customers using a CRM and prior knowledge of SalesForce would be advantageous.

    As well as a passion for technology, you have a drive to pursue and generate new opportunities with prospective clients and new partners in order to increase market share in your designated territories. Utilising your industry expertise and knowledge, you will have the ability to accurately assess and anticipate customer requirements, ensuring they receive the greatest possible service throughout their experience with the company.

    You will also possess strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining business relationships. A background within a fast-paced telecommunications environment is preferable.
